For the Beginning Blogger

If you're still a beginner at blogging, there are probably still a lot of things you're very unsure about and may not be sure where to begin. Blogging is actually quite easy to learn once you get a handle on the important factors. While you may not become instantly rich overnight, if done correctly, you can make some excellent money by blogging.

The two most important things to get you started with blogging are your niche and your blog content. Your niche is your area of interest. There are probably hundreds of things you're interested in but not all of them enough to write a blog on continually and make money. You'll be blogging on a regular basis so choose a topic that is going to hold your interest. You may want to do some research on Google on your topic.

Try to avoid a topic that millions of others are not writing on or trying to sell. Or if you can't, try to narrow your topic down to specifics. Write a few articles and blogs to post at once when you open your blog so it's interesting to the first group of readers.

Once you have your blog going, you need to have content and lots of it. In the beginning it may seem like you're writing to yourself, and you may be until you can generate traffic your way. Go to other blogs that are in your niche and leave comments. This is a great way to generate traffic to your blog. If you happen to mention other blogs in your blog post, use trackbacks so they'll be notified that you mentioned them. Learn about pinging your articles and it's importance.
Above all, keep your content fresh. Keep adding every day and don't give up, even when it seems you're the only one posting. It will get busy.
